Thunderbird adds alumni chapter coordinator

Dear Alumni,
My name is April Morales and it is a pleasure to introduce myself as Thunderbird’s new alumni chapter coordinator. I was born and raised in Mexico City until the age of 15, at which time I moved to California and seven years later, to sunny Arizona. I have worked with Thunderbird for six years as Student Affairs Coordinator for the Global MBA for Latin American Managers program, in which I am also currently a student with a projected graduation date of May 2014. I am excited to join Terri Nissen in the Alumni Relations office and I look forward to working with all of you and help you in every way I can! In this position I will support you on staying connected with your fellow alumni and keeping your databases current. You can help with this process by sending me updates when your chapter leadership changes. I can also support you in the following ways:

  • If you need help building or updating your MTB chapter page, I can guide you through the process.
  • If you have a question or concern and are not sure who to contact, send it to me and I will help channel your inquiry to the right person or department.
  • If you have trouble finding alumni resources available to you, I can help you navigate the process.
  • If you have pictures, news or other items you would like us to share in the monthly Thunderbird Digest, you can send them to me.

If there is anything else you need help with, I am here for you. You can reach me at or I will be checking these accounts daily, as chapter leaders are a top priority for us. You may also reach me on Skype at april.morales0782, on Facebook at!/april.morales.545 or by phone at 602-978-7106. I look forward to working with you.

April Morales
