October 2013 First Tuesday roundup: Chicago, Milwaukee, Barcelona, Miami

In place of its regular First Tuesday, the Chicagoland Thunderbird Alumni Association co-sponsored an international careers roundtable discussion with WorldChicago on Oct. 1, 2013, at Leo Burnett offices in Chicago, Illinois. After hearing from career professionals, attendees gathered in small groups with roundtable leaders, who discussed their international experiences and how they got to where they are today. The event started with wine and light appetizers. Here are highlights from other First Tuesday activities around the world:

Several T-birds turned out for Oktoberfest First Tuesday on Oct. 1, 2013, at the Milwaukee School of Engineering's Grohmann Art Museum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The evening included a tour of the art collection and rooftop garden of bronze statues. Three guests from Thunderbird's Global MBA Online program joined First Tuesday in Miami, Florida, on Oct. 1, 2013. “It was great to have the new faces, and to learn about the new programs,” said Walter Baker ’83, co-chairman of the Miami/South Florida alumni chapter.
