Skiing and dogsledding in Colorado

Thunderbird alumni enjoyed a weekend with skiing, hot springs, food and great company March 14-16, 2014, in Salida, Colorado, a mountain town about three hours southwest of Denver. “Some folks downhill skied, others cross country skied, and yet others went dogsledding,” said Michelle Pujol ’94. “We met up for a dip at Princeton Hot Springs and then dinner in town on Sunday.”

Rob Prescott ’94 and his wife, Donna, then hosted a brunch at their home in Salida. (Rob is a ski instructor at the nearby Monarch Mountain Colorado Ski Resort.) The event was billed as the second annual T-bird Ski and Snow Weekend. Other alumni participants included Doug Deardorf ’84, Steve Mack ’93, Jim Schwartz ’70, Stephanie Chen and Susan Pratt ’06.
